Seasonal Window Decorations - Fall
Activity: Tracing Leaves from outside, tracing leaves from pre-made stencils or drawing your own leaves. Use realistic coloured construction paper and clear scotch tape to put them up on any windows or doors.
Tracing can be done hand-over-hand or if the client can draw on their own, tape down a leaf and get them to trace around it.
The leaves give the room atmosphere!

Fridge Magnets using Beads
I've noticed that I am lacking in fridge magnets and did not want to spend too much money. I made my own for 1 dollar. I just put some glue on the magnet and dipped it into the pot of beads. This can be an easy craft to do with adults or children.
What do you need?
-- Buy a pack of magnets from dollarama
(mine came with 7 in a package... I bought large round ones)
-- Glue gun with glue sticks (you can get one at the dollar store as well.
-- Old beads (or buy some at the dollar store)

Painting a Mural Wall
I decided to transform an old ugly corkboard wall into a colourful mural that the clients can look at and interpret in their own way. My helper chose the colours and we worked on the wall over a few weeks. I painted 2-3 different colour lines each day with my helper's encouragement and it became an activity that he looked forward to each day.
